Adopt-a-Miracle Ministry Small Group

The Adopt-a-Miracle Ministry Small Group is currently on hold due to the impact of COVID.

This has been an outreach ministry team that meets twice a month to provide a clean and sober fun night for women struggling with alcohol or substance abuse. We try to support their desire to achieve self-worth and to experience a positive lifestyle.

The women are transported from their residential recovery housing in San Jose by church volunteers and are greeted at Good Sam with welcome arms and donations of gently used women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, toys, and other personal items. Refreshments and fellowship follow games or crafts. The evening ends with open and honest sharing and mutual respect. The women leave their prayer requests with the ministry team and take with them an armful of love.
